Mark Salmon is programme director for information resources at NICE and joined the organisation in 2001. He leads NICE’s information services and evidence services teams and runs NICE’s Office for Digital health. He has an interest in horizon scanning systems and leads the topic intelligence element of NICE’s technology evaluation programme for digital health technologies. He led the development of NICE’s Evidence Standards Framework for digital health technologies (DHTs) and several pilot approaches to the evaluation of DHTs as well as supporting the developing national policy for their regulation, evaluation and reimbursement.
