Peter is a highly experienced people focussed senior business leader with Global, Regional & Local experience in Market Access, Sales, Marketing & Change Management. He qualified as a Nurse at the John Radcliffe in Oxford in 1990. After 7 years working in the NHS and studying for BA Hons in International Business with French from Bristol Polytechnic, he joined the pharmaceutical industry.  

He has held a wide variety of commercial and management roles with responsibility at UK, EU and Global levels, spanning many therapeutic classes. For the past 14 years he has worked developing strategies and appraisals for submission to NICE, SMC, AWMSG and other similar bodies globally to get access for patients.  

He currently works for Takeda in the UK leading a team focussed on access for patients. He was a trustee for the National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society, a national patient charity for 12 years before joining NICE Technology Appraisal Committee B over 4 years ago.
