Rachel Neaman, non-executive director and business advisor, Neaman Consulting Ltd.

Rachel is an influential technology leader specialising in digital transformation, leadership, health tech, skills and inclusion. Her executive career spans the private, public and not-for-profit sectors in the UK and internationally, including for the EU and as a senior civil servant in the UK, where she was the first Chief Digital Officer for the Department of Health. She was subsequently the CEO of a digital skills organisation and a research institute. She is now a non-executive director and committee Chair, a business advisor and an ACC-accredited leadership coach, and runs her own consultancy providing strategic advice to executives and Boards. Rachel is a Partner at Strengths Unleashed Ltd, a member of the Holos Change Faculty, a member of the Faculty of the Public School of Technology, and a High-Risk Assurance Reviewer for the Cabinet Office’s Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA). 

Rachel has an extensive non-executive portfolio including as a Governor and as Chair of the Digital Committee of Birkbeck, University of London, a Non-Executive Director and member of the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Committee of TPXImpact Plc, and sits on the Boards of the Campaign for Social Science and DigitalHealth.London. She was a member of the Board of Digital Leaders for 10 years and chaired it for three. 

Rachel is a frequent speaker at UK and international conferences, has appeared regularly before parliamentary Select Committees, is a frequent judge of digital awards, a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and a Fellow of the RSA.
