Emma McNally, chief executive officer, Tourettes Action

Emma McNally is the chief executive officer of Tourettes Action, the only national charity dedicated to supporting individuals with Tourette syndrome. As a passionate and dedicated advocate, she has committed herself to raising awareness about the unique needs of people with this condition. Emma is deeply invested in improving both the access to accurate diagnosis and the availability of effective treatments for those affected by Tourette syndrome. Her tireless efforts have made her a leading voice in the campaign to improve the lives of individuals living with Tourette syndrome, and she continues to push for greater recognition and support.

Emma became a part of Tourettes Action in January 2022, following several years of dedicated campaigning to enhance local medical services for her son and others in the area, who have Tourette syndrome. Prior to joining the charity, Emma working in the IT sector, for over 20 years, as a consultant. Working in project management, analysis, design, implementation and testing in across a range of market sectors, in particular finance and telecoms, gaining a reputation for delivering robust solutions to time and budget.
