Jamie is leading on the delivery of projects conducted by NICE’s Health Technology Innovation Laboratory (HTA Lab), within the science policy and research programme.
Jamie has over 13 years of experience in health economics and HTA. He is widely published and regularly presents at international conferences. He holds an MSc in Health Economics from the University of York.

Before his current role, Jamie led NICE’s involvement in several European Commission funded research projects, held a technical adviser role in the technology appraisals and highly specialised technologies programme, and conducted health economic analyses in the Centre for Guidelines. Before NICE, Jamie held positions at the Manchester Centre for Health Economics at the University of Manchester and a private health economics consultancy.
