Jano Goodchild is the participation and co production manager at Public Voice, bringing a lifelong commitment to amplifying community voices and improving health and social care services. With a career spanning frontline practice, operational leadership, advocacy, and partnership development, Jano’s work is rooted in the belief that people deserve to influence the services they rely on. Her professional journey reflects both depth and breadth across statutory, voluntary, and community sectors.

At Public Voice, Jano now drives partnership development and sector capacity building, supporting voluntary, community, and social enterprise partners to meaningfully influence service design, commissioning and policy. She works closely with communities that are often overlooked, ensuring their lived experiences shape improved outcomes and reduced inequalities. Jano is a member of the NICE Voluntary and Community Network Leadership Group which aims to shape the direction of the voluntary sector network.
