Lorna Dunning MSc MPH, associate director - technology appraisals and highly specialised technologies, NICE
Lorna holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from University of Oxford, and a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Cape Town (South Africa). At NICE, Lorna is an associate director within NICE’s Technology Appraisals & Highly Specialised Technologies Programme. She is responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of topics undergoing evaluation at NICE. Prior to this Lorna’s focus was methods development and the application of new and existing methods within HTA evaluations of medicines at NICE.
Before NICE, Lorna worked as a researcher at the Medical Practice Evaluation Centre (Massachusetts General Hospital, USA) leading a World Health Organisation (WHO) project to use model-based approaches to inform guidance at international and country levels. Lorna has participated in ISPOR panels and given oral presentations at other international conferences. She is a regular presenter for NICE in external webinars and masterclasses.
