Dr Stephen Bush, chief clinical information officer and consultant in emergency medicine, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and regional clinical advisor, NHS England
Steve is the chief clinical information officer at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT) and works clinically as a consultant in emergency medicine at LTHT, one of the largest acute NHS Trusts in the UK. LTHT is the regional Major Trauma Centre and the regional hub for many other services including cardiac intervention, vascular surgery and stroke management.
Steve is also the NHS England regional clinical advisor for urgent and emergency care in the North East and Yorkshire Region of the UK.
Prior to the NHS England post, Steve was medical director operations at LTHT after 10 years working as clinical director for emergency and specialty medicine and was also president of the ATLS European Association. He is a non-executive director of GS1 UK, is a member of the GS1 Global Healthcare Leadership Team and chairs the Scan4Safety Board at LTHT.
