Nicola Bent, chief executive, Health Innovation Wessex
Nicola is a clinical leader and has worked in leadership, management, advisory and delivery roles for the past 25 years at national, regional and local levels, driving change across health and care. She is currently the chief executive of Health Innovation Wessex and joined in April 2020 as the deputy chief executive and director of innovation adoption from NICE, where she was deputy director of health and social care and programme director for system engagement. In the network, she has responsibilities in cancer, genomics and for the collaboration with NICE.
Nicola is a registered clinical pharmacist and has expertise in policy development, commissioning, implementation and innovation adoption, quality improvement, strategy and transformational change, medicines optimisation, patient safety and cross sector partnership working.
