Dr Dianne Addei, senior public health advisor
National Healthcare Inequalities Improvement Programme NHS England
A consultant in public health medicine, Dr Dianne Addei has worked in local, regional and pan-regional, as well as national roles in the NHS. She also has experience working with the World Health Organisation (WHO) on the Polio Eradication Programme and with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) on the first cervical cancer vaccine, Cervarix.
As a public health practitioner, Dianne has led the review and development of several services in the NHS at local, regional and national level over the last 20 years. She has successfully supported the development of various national policies and programmes to transform and improve the quality of services. She currently leads the NHS England Sickle Cell & Thalassaemia Services Quality Improvement Programme. Dianne works with colleagues in the National Healthcare Inequalities Improvement Programme to deliver quality healthcare for all – ensuring equity of access, an excellent experience, and optimal outcomes for patients.
