Thomas Walker is a principal adviser in the NICE healthtech programme, and has worked for NICE, including the diagnostic assessment programme (DAP), for almost 10 years. This has involved working on health technology assessments and producing guidance on a diverse array of diagnostic and prognostic tests, as well as monitoring technologies. Recent work includes setting up the NICE early value assessment workstream and also producing guidance on genomic and pharmacogenomic tests.
